Oh, it is certainly true.
The textbook adoption boards in Texas and California have the most clout. Many other states don’t have adoption boards, so they rely on whatever California and Texas approves. Conservative adoption boards choose the Texas books.

I just finished the NYT article……My one word response: Tragic
My classes in the school of education did not cover the ugly reality of textbooks. No wonder the country is so divided!
